整洁问题
◎ 环境脏乱
Could you send someone up to clean the room? It looks like it hasn’t been cleaned.（可以派人过来打扫房间吗？房间看起来跟没扫过一样。）
◎ 房间有菸味
We asked for a non-smoking room, but when we walked in, it smelled like cigarette smoke everywhere.（我们要求一间非吸菸房，但我们走进去时到处都是菸味。）
◎ 冷气有霉味
The musty smell coming from the air conditioner is too strong. Do you have another room available?（冷气的霉味很重。你们有其他房间吗？）
设备问题
◎ 网路没讯号
Do you have an Ethernet cable? The Wi-Fi signal is weak in my room, and I can't access the Internet.（你们有网路线吗？我房间的无线网路讯号很弱，我连不上网路。）
◎ 插座坏掉
There's a problem with the socket in my room. Could you come and check for me?（我房间的插座有点问题。能过来帮我看看吗？）
若是忘记带转接头或充电器，也可以跟饭店要求：
Could I borrow an adapter and charger?（我可以借用转接插头和充电器吗？）
◎ 没有热水
Is there something wrong with the water heater? There's no hot water in the bathroom.（热水器有问题吗？浴室里没有热水。）
房间缺东少西
◎ 没有盥洗用品
Why aren't there any toiletries in the bathroom?（为什么浴室里没有盥洗用品？）
这里的 toiletries 是“盥洗用品”的总称。另外，也可以特别指出来缺少什么盥洗用品：
Why isn't there shampoo or body wash in the bathroom?（为什么浴室里没有洗发乳或沐浴乳？）
◎ 迷你吧没东西
如果肚子饿了，想喝点饮料，打开房间的小冰箱却发现里头什么都没有，这时可以说：
Why isn't my minibar restocked?（为什么迷你吧没有补充零食饮料？）
◎ 加床却没有床铺
如果入住时有加床，却发现少了这个床铺，可以跟柜台反映：
We booked a double room and asked for an extra bed, but there's no cot. Please send it up when you can.（我们订了一间双人房，且要求加一张床，但没有看到多的床铺。你们有空时请帮我送上来。）
